"The Last Days Of Socrates" - Euthyphro's Actions

Abstract: 5 pages in length. Euthyphro thinks it is right for him to prosecute his own father because he claims to be pious in the action. Merely because he believes himself to be an authority due to his piousness, he therefore justifies what transpires from such belief. Moreover, Euthyphro's involvement in religion by virtue of being some sort of clergyman coupled with his authority about the gods cast him into a self-proclaimed expert on holiness. This, therefore, calls for him to demonstrate what he claims in order for his reasoning to be accepted, an objective he attempts to achieve in three tries. No additional sources cited.
