Visit to the National Center for the Preservation of Democracy

Abstract: A 3 page paper discussing the mission and goals of the National Center for the Preservation of Democracy and its "Fighting for Democracy" analysis of widely diverse individuals who fought in World War II, in the face of racial and ethnic discrimination. The goal of the Center is to demonstrate to students that individuals comprise the "we" in "we, the people." Bibliography lists 2 sources.
