Same Sex Marriage

Abstract: An 8 page research paper that offers an overview of the "gay" marriage debate. In his 2005 State of the Union Address, President George W. Bush, again, reiterated his endorsement of an Amendment to the Constitution to prohibit same-sex marriage. On the other side of the issue, many people argue that same-sex marriage does not portend the disastrous erosion to the foundations of civilization that conservatives fear. Examination of same-sex marriage, and the issues that surround this topic, is illuminating as to the these two radically opposed positions. Bibliography lists 8 sources.
