The Physical, Spiritual and Emotional Entombment Caused by the Social Stigma of HIV/AIDS

Abstract: 7 pages in length. The silent sepulcher of stigma in HIV/AIDS reflects the physical, spiritual and emotional entombment faced by those who are ousted by virtue of the social ignorance inherent to their illness. The extent to which this socially-imposed silence impacts every aspect of education by erecting a barrier to learning is both grand and far-reaching; that it also continues to have an influence upon public embracing of prevention programs speaks to a grossly uneducated global society.
