Homosexual Parenting: Pros & Cons

Abstract: 19 pages in length. People from all walks of life must endure social intolerance at one time or another; however, certain groups face prejudicial persecution on a regular basis. What is the answer for gays and lesbians who want to raise children beneath a homosexual umbrella that would bring a sense of peace and equity amidst the tenets of sexual discrimination? Many claim it is too much to hope for that social bias begin to wane in exchange for a more understanding and open-minded world, especially what lies at the foundation of all intolerance is a combination of fear and ignorance, an alliance that not only precludes the chance for security and peace but one that also encourages just the opposite. Understanding the extent to which more states allow homosexual parenting than those that do not is an important realization when examining which way the pendulum is currently swinging.
