North Carolina Statute of Limitations for Personal Injury Cases

Abstract: A 3 page paper discussing implications of this topic. The statutes of limitations for many types of civic cases in North Carolina are listed in Chapter 1, Article 5 of the North Carolina General Statutes, sections 1-46 through 1-55. Limits range from six months to ten years, depending on the type of case being considered. For personal injury cases, the statute of limitations is three years (Section 1-52).
