Abstract: This is a 10 page paper presenting an argument about the existence of God from an atheist and theist standpoint ending in favor of the theist. Generally the arguments for the existence of God center on five different approaches: the argument of contingency, the argument from design, the ontological argument, the argument as a presupposition of values and morals, and the argument for proof by religious experience. The argument of design of the universe, or teleological arguments based on science are those most often proposed by atheists (A) although theists (T) do have comparable arguments as rebuttal and the arguments of morals and values provide the most sound base.
