DESCARTES AND THE PHYSICAL REALM

Abstract: This paper examines the question of whether "I drink therefore I am" has the same certainty and impact as Rene Descartes' infamous "I think therefore I am" statement. In analyzing this question, the paper examines Descartes' philosophy of realism versus illusion, as well as the connection between God, the mind and the world. Bibliography lists 2 sources.
