Abstract: A 5 page discussion of the contemporary views of the Catholic and Jewish religions on the topic of homosexuality. The author notes that while the mainstream components of these religious institutions have matured to the point where they accept homosexuality as a natural condition, the predominant view is that homosexual acts are an abomination in the eyes of God. Some factions of both Catholicism and Judaism have taken a more flexible opinion, however, and the continuing pressure of the issues is sure to result in a continuing trend toward greater receptivity.
