Accidental Century

Abstract: If "God is dead" for the modern individual, then there is no purpose to the future. A person, society and, or, culture without purpose is certain to be defined as in crisis. This 8 page paper explores the concept of the 'accidental century' as defined by a crisis of belief and disbelief which made the twentieth century spiritually empty by looking at the history and tone of community action in terms of literary depiction. Bibliography lists 5 sources.
