Abstract: A 6 page paper discussing the validity of these two theories, how they can apply to psychological egoism and how Kant's position on duty can be incorporated. Egoism is self-centered and self-serving; Kant provides a bridge between self-centeredness and duty. Bibliography lists 7 sources.
