Milton - you ol' Romantic! (description of Eve - Book 4)

Abstract: (5 pp) It is a sad thing that we feel that we cannot deal with ancient or medieval literature. It will be too hard, we whine. I will not understand it, we complain, and give ourselves an excuse, to not even try. Milton is speaking of true innocence of thought and body to give us an idea of what Paradise must have been like. If we have no idea of 'how it was,' how will we ever be able to find it?
